There are several off-the-shelf scheduling packages on the market. We are not another package supplier. Our approach has been developed in response to our clients who report that their ERP, finite capacity or advanced planning and scheduling systems just don't work for them. They complain that their packaged systems:

• don't recognize a particular peculiarity of their process
• are not sufficiently integrated
• are too complex and take too long to implement
• are too expensive

A customized system will avoid all the functionality that you don't need, and go directly to the root of your requirements. For example you may have intelligence built into your product codes, which can be extracted and used to derive bill-of-material and routing information. We used this technique recently, to design, develop and implement a scheduling system for a client, complete with integration to their ERP system, in one day!
